Welcome to the Bosshardt House!
It all began in 1906 when 2nd generation Swiss-American Charles Bosshardt and his wife Mamie bought two lots in the newly expanded King William neighborhood near downtown San Antonio. They built a beautiful Queen-Anne style home in the middle of the two lots with a keen eye for natural light and harmonious proportions. The neighborhood has seen many transitions after the second World War and since 1968 when the home passed out of the family. Like the King William neighborhood, the Bosshardt's home has been completely updated and lovingly restored over recent years for new generations to enjoy. It is our goal to make your stay as pleasant, convenient, and private as possible. From off-street parking for even an RV to a warm and bubbling hot tub waiting to relax your tired muscles, we aim to have everything you need in a vacation rental. Whether you want to cook a gourmet meal, watch a DVD on the 32" LCD, or recline on the cloud-like canopy bed, our amenities will help make your stay in San Antonio memorable.
Be sure to check our Gallery page for plenty of photos of the cottage and around SA. Also, if you are looking for a great place to eat or planning a day of exploring town, check our Local Links page for a multitude of things to do, see, and eat close by. If you are ready to make a reservation or you want to check rates, please see our Reservations page for details. To see availability throughout the year go to the Calendar page. If you would like to leave a comment about your stay, or see what other guests had to say, please visit our Guestbook.
